HOW TO GET THERE

FLYING FROM THE UK
The area is well served by the budget airlines. There are flights from the UK to Beziers 25k (Ryanair from Stansted & Bristol), Montpellier 50k (Easyjet), Carcassonne 80k (Ryanair) and Toulouse 130k (Easyjet). You can also fly to Spain - Barcelona and Girona are both within a few hours drive of Saint-Chinian.

DRIVING FROM THE UK
It is possible to drive down from the UK. It is 700 miles from Dieppe. Realistically you will have to stop overnight somewhere. The town of Vierzon is almost exactly halfway, and there are two cheap motels on the outskirts of the town.
If you would like to travel on a little further, we recommend staying at the gite Les Hirondelles, right in the heart of the Dordogne countryside. This is owned by friends of ours, and is just outside Condat sur Vezere near Brive-la-Gaillarde. Please contact them to check availability and prices.

Driving on French roads is a pleasure compared with crowded English highways, and if you are careful you can avoid the only snarl up that will cause you any problems - the dreaded Peripherique around Paris!
